WELLINGTON, FL -- The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating an overnight fatal accident that killed a 15-year-old driver in the 14000 block of Greentree Trail.

Investigators say Matthew Kornya was traveling East on Greentree at a high speed when he hit a bump in the road and lost control of the vehicle.

According to the report, Kornya, who did not have his seatbelt on was ejected from the car and passed away on scene.

The passenger, 16-year-old Michael McMahon was wearing a seatbelt and walked away from the accident.

Alcohol is not a factor in the crash investigation, according to PBSO.
