JUPITER, FL - The line outside stretched around the building.  Inside, people rushed past displays of popular books about vampires.

They were all here to see one person, Glenn Beck.

The conservative talk show host is on a whirlwind tour of the state of Florida, promoting his new book, Arguing with Idiots.

More than 1,000 people held tickets for the signing at the Books-A-Million.

The line snaked through the aisles and Beck's assistants instructed everyone to have their books opened and facing away from them as they neared the front of the line.

Sivert Walstron drove seven hours from the Panhandle town of Marianna, Florida.

"He is giving the American people what they need and that's information. "Information is what everybody's starving for, and that's why everybody's here. That's why they're reading his books. You know, it's a number one seller."

Beck signed autographs and shook hands for more than 90 minutes, making him late for his next appearance in Ft. Lauderdale.

His tour continues Saturday at the Villages in Central Florida.
