PALM CITY, FL-- Monday, August 31st is the last day to renew your driver’s license or tag before the Florida Legislature’s higher fees become effective.

The Palm City office, Hobe Sound Office, and Main Office on Willoughby Blvd will extend their hours on Monday until 6pm to give taxpayers the advantage to renew before the rate increases.

Anyone from ANY COUNTY in the State of Florida can renew driver’s licenses or tags at Martin County Tax Collector’s offices. Anyone with a September, October, or November birth month may renew their tags now.

Two-year renewals are available to lock in the old renewal rate for another year.

Anyone with a driver’s license expiration date prior to March 2011 may renew their driver’s license now.

For additional information or locations, call (772) 288-5600.
