VERO BEACH, FL - Bridget Johnston recently talked to her grandmother on Skype.
The 85-year old said she was having a great time.
Muriel Johnston is currently stationed in Morocco, the oldest volunteer with the Peace Corps.
Johnston has been assigned to a remote village there and tasked with teaching children about good oral hygiene.
She sent an e-mail to her family saying she didn't have enough toothbrushes to go around.
Bridget, a 16-year old junior at Vero Beach High School, jumped into action.
She's collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss to send overseas.
Bridget says she's already collected more than 100 toothbrushes and she plans to start up a collection for local residents in need.
Her mother, Kathryn Johnston, is storing all the supplies at her Vero Beach law office.
