Sebastian mother charged with manslaughter

A Sebastian woman has been charged with manslaughter a week after leaving her infant son in a hot car for more than eight hours. Stephanie Ann Salvilla Werking posted $2,500 bail after being booked into the Indian River County Jail Thursday afternoon.  She told police that on July 24th she drove to work in Vero Beach and forgot to stop at a day care center to drop off her six-month old son, Gannon Werking. She found his dead body when she returned to her car at the end of her work day.
