SEBASTIAN, FL -- Sebastian police announce the arrest of a 52-year-old man who has been staying with his mother, stealing her painkillers and then selling them out of her home.
Police say Kerry Eurich's mother allowed him to stay rent free at her home which was located in quite, primarily retired community in Sebastian.
Police received reports from residents inside of the community of suspicious persons visiting the Eurich's home and suspected drug dealing, according to the report.
Undercover officers set up a drug sting in which 100 hydrocodone pain pills were bought netting in $340.00 from Kerry Eurich.
Police say Eurich was stealing his mother’s hydrocodone and selling them to suspected buyers for greed and profit.
Grace Eurich's elderly mother was unaware of the drugs missing and was prescribed the narcotics legally for hip and back surgery.
Police say a search of the residence revealed several empty bottles for hydrocodone all in the name of Grace Eurich.
Police say further search of the residence revealed other paraphernalia including crack pipes and marijuana smoking devices.
Kerry Eurich is currently in police custody. If convicted, he can face up to 25 year in prison for trafficking of a schedule 3 narcotic.
