UPDATE:CANAL POINT,FL-- Investigators say the victim has been identified as Maria Cigarroa of South Bay.
Detectives believe the tractor was not moving when the accident occurred.

CANAL POINT, FL -- Rescue units are on scene of an accident where a tractor has gone into a canal along US Highway 98 near Hatton Highway.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, it appears that a female operator may have been pinned when the tractor went into the canal.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies and divers from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the area around 9:25 a.m. The unidentified woman was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Investigators say it appears the tractor was too close to the edge of a canal embankment and rolled into the water.
