WEST PALM BEACH, FL-- Like your car music loud? Then keep the windows rolled up in West Palm Beach.

Warning signs are being posted in parts of the city. One in the Northwood neighborhood warns violators they could face a $91 fine.

Police say the signs are in response to complaints by residents of loud music waking them up at night.

But some drivers like Howard Leslie disagree. "I think it's a bunch of jive you know they're looking for money. They're coming up with laws really  for anything that they know people like to do. Music makes people feel good. Why shouldn't I bump my music loud if it makes me feel good and the people next to me enjoy it? I've never heard anybody complain except cops who want to search the car."

Police say they might add a feature in which residents can report the license tag numbers of loud cars.
