PALM BEACH COUNTY, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has identified the two suspects connected to a high speed chase Tuesday.

The police pursuit began in Miami-Dade County and ended in Central Palm Beach County.

It started as a criminal investigation into narcotics trafficking according to Nicole Navas with US Customs and Immigration Enforcement.

Navas says Solvin Forbes, 43, a Colombian National, and Orenthal Marcel Butler, 24, are in custody pending federal charges.

Forbes was arrested in Miami, but Butler took off in a Mazda, according to investigators.

They say he hit an ICE agent's vehicle and peeled off reaching speeds up to 130 miles per hour.

Butler made it to the Florida Turnpike and traveled through Broward County and into Palm Beach County.

Eventually he sideswiped a car then hit a guardrail, struck a pickup truck, and once again bounced into a guardrail before swerving into the median. The driver then veered into the shoulder where the car came to a stop.

Butler climbed out the window and gave up on the Florida Turnpike near Okeechobee Boulevard in suburban West Palm Beach.

The two suspects are currently in ICE custody pending initial appearance on federal criminal charges.
