ORLANDO, FL -- Orlando police have named the man who died from shots fired by a gunman at an engineering firm.

The shooting victim was identified as 26-year-old Otis Beckford who lived in West Palm Beach before relocating to Orlando.

Police say Beckford was standing near a receptionists desk in the office of Reynolds, Smith and Hills when Jason Rodriguez entered the office, drew a handgun from under his shirt and began firing. Beckford was hit by at least two bullets.

Rodriguez was fired from the firm two years ago and blamed it for his inability to get unemployment benefits.

Police say Rodriguez wounded five other workers in the office. He is being charged with first-degree murder for Beckford's death and could face other charges.
