First murder of 2010 under investigation

UNINCORPORATED WEST PALM BEACH, FL--The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the first murder of the new year.

22 year-old Jeffry Jones was found shot to death early Friday morning in the 7800 block of Pioneer Road in West Palm Beach.  Jones' body was found on the side of the road. 

There are no known witnesses or motive to this murder.

Anyone who was in the area between six and six thirty this morning is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS
