WEST PALM BEACH, FL --  More than 30 models strutted down the catwalk Saturday night for the Alliance For Eating Disorders Awareness. The fashion show took place in Jet Aviation's hangar and the theme was 'Escape to Reality.' It was the 5th annual fashion show for the organization. The fashion show was made possible with the generous help from Palm Healthcare Foundation.

Several familiar faces modeled, including Mayor Lois Frankel, Florida Representative Joseph Abruzzo, Miss Florida 2006 Allison Kreiger, NewsChannel Five Meteorologist Steve Weagle who had a great hairdo and Anchor/Reporter Tania Rogers who also emceed the event. The models wore clothes from Eileen Fisher, Little in the Middle, Bettie Page Clothing, C. Orrico, TJ Maxx, Bonobos and Concert Chicks.

The annual fashion show celebrates real bodies, real people, real fashion. The Alliance's founder and Executive Director, Johanna Kandel, spends endless hours visiting schools and traveling talking to people who battle eating disorders. It's a passion for Kandel to help as many people as possible. She knows what it's like to deal with an eating problem. She battled those problems herself when she was a teenager.
