Huge response for homebuyer assistance

WEST PALM BEACH,FL--The huge response continues for the 50-50 Homebuyer Assistance initative in West Palm Beach.

The city is offering to pay half the mortgage of 60 homes in the Coleman Park neighborhood thanks in part to federal stimulus money.

Mayor Lois Frankel hopes the new homeowners will help revitalize the neighborhood.

"So we are looking for some good neighbors, and hopefully we will sign them up today and the rest of the week."
