Teen airlifted after fall from horse

WELLINGTON, FL -- A 13-year-old female suffered head injuries after Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue says she fell off of a horse.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Gulfstream Polo Club horse track.

Fire-Rescue officials say the teen was airlifted to Delray Beach Trauma Center in stable condition.

She was wearing a helmet at the time.
