Palm Springs bank suspect in custody

WEST PALM BEACH, FL. --  Manuel Rosado of Royal Palm Beach is being held in the Palm Beach County jail.

Rosado was arrested Monday by the Palm Springs police shortly after the Sterling Bank at 2764 South Congress Ave was robbed.

The arrest report issued by the Palm Springs Police states that Rosado asked the manager about opening an account.

He then threw a plastic bag on her desk and demanded money.

The suspect, according to police, grabbed the manager and took her to a teller's window where he stated that he wanted hundreds and fifties.

Police say Rosado was given the money and a dye pack.

Manuel Rosado arrested near the bank with almost $7,500 in cash in his car and red dye on his car seat and pants.

Rosado, according to police. told the arresting officer, "I'm sorry, things are rough."
