Homeless get a helping hand

WEST PALM BEACH, FL. -- The Salvation Army on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. partnered with the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County to provide a wide range of services to homeless people in the area.

Project Connect is a special one day project to provide assistance and services to the homeless.

Participants were given identification cards, haircuts food, health screenings and household items.

50 area organizations donated goods and services to today's project.

The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County recently announced a ten year plan to end homelessness in Palm Beach County.
