WEST PALM BEACH, FL- A local organization is asking for help from the community to help end homelessness.

During its second annual "Ending Homelessness Breakfast" Friday, The Lord's Place launched its "2% Solution" campaign.

This is a challenge to the residents of Palm Beach County to join in the fight.

"We have discovered the solutions to ending homelessness," said The Lord's Place Board Member Dean Lavalle. "We invite the residents of Palm Beach County to meet our simple goal on engaging 2% of our community in making a daily commitment to end homelessness."

Residents can help the cause by donating $1 a day to fund programs the organization runs. The staff hopes the campaign will be in full swing before the height of the holiday season.
