PEANUT ISLAND--A new ship has sailsed into our area.

The HMS Bounty pulled into port at Peanut Island, near the Palm Beach Maritime Museum.

Tours will be available beginning November 28, and the entire ship will be available to host group events. Museum employees say the bounty's main draw though, is the wealth of history it holds.

"To come through the boat, and see how people lived on the boat.  And to walk through the whole thing and see the history of it...that's something that Palm Beach Maritime Museum likes to promote, to show people what it was like, back in the day," said Anthony Miller, Palm Beach Maritime Museum.

The bounty will remain in port until April 1st, when it and another ship, the Privateer Lynx, will sail north to take part in the Great Lakes United Tall Ship Challenge.
