PALM BEACH,FL--Palm Beach Police are looking for two suspects they say snatched a pricey statue from Neiman Marcus.

Police describe the store surveillance system Neiman Marcus has as one of the best.  They have cameras watching shoppers from the moment they step inside until the moment they leave.  But it appears these thieves were so quick no employees saw them.

The robbery happened Tuesday.  Palm Beach Police have not released the surveillance tape but say in the video you can see a man and a woman walk into the store on Worth Avenue.

It appears the woman then started pretending to look at some merchandise, to distract attention from her male partner.  After that, police say the man put something in his jacket and they both left the store.

What they took was a Daum statue worth around $41,000.   It's about 22 inches tall, which police say makes it easy to conceal.

"It could have just been regular people who went in on impulse, but that's typically not going to be it," said Captain Fred Hess of the Palm Beach Police Department.

Police believe they have a good photograph of the suspects so now it's a matter of putting the images in their system and seeing if there is a match.
