THE ACREAGE, FL--Joe and Jolynn Adinolfe bought their dream house, and put it on three acres in The Acreage.

When the state tested random wells for carcinogens, the Adinolfes decided to do their own.

"Instead of waiting for tests from the health department of the state we took matters into our own hands," Joe said.

The couple paid National Testing Laboratories $450 and had a wide-range of tests done on their well which is tapped 45 feet into thier lawn.

The results, so far, have come back clean.

"We are still waiting for the metals and the radium," says Jolynn.
