Deputy's vehicle hit during investigation

LAKE WORTH, FL--A Palm Beach County Sheriff's Deputy's vehicle was hit as he investigated a rollover accident on 6th Avenue South in Lake Worth.

It happened just before 6 a.m. near the bridge over Lake Osborne.

The deputy was not injured.

A woman driving the car that rolled over was transported to Palms West Hospital. The extent of her injuries is not known.

Investigators have not yet released information on the vehicle that hit the deputy's cruiser.
