Jefferson Awards Information

The Jefferson Awards are a prestigious, national recognition program honoring community & public service.

Today, their primary purpose is to serve as a Call to Action for Volunteers in local communities.

WPTV will select five local Jefferson Award winners during the month of February, based on your nominations.

One local winner will be selected to attend the Gala Dinner and National Ceremony in Washington D.C.

NewsChannel 5 Anchor, Tania Rogers will profile each Jefferson Award winner on a NewsChannel 5 newscast during the week of March 15th, 2010.
