Evacuation Zones: Palm Beach County
Category 1 & 2 Hurricanes: ORANGE IN ABOVE MAP
  • All coastal barrier islands.
  • All mobile homes.
  • All properties within a block of a coastal/tidal body of water.
  • All areas prone to flooding.
  • All areas in Jupiter between: east of Pennock Road - North of Toney Penna Road east of Military Trail - North of Indian Creek Parkway.
  • All areas in Boynton Beach east of US1/Federal Highway.
Category 3, 4 & 5 Hurricanes: RED IN ABOVE MAP

All areas evacuated in Category ONE and TWO hurricanes in addition to:

  • All areas east of US/Federal Highway within the city limits of Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Gulf Stream, Hypoluxo, Lake Park, Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach north of 36th Avenue. All areas within one block of the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway, north of Northlake Blvd.
  • All areas east of Dixie Highway within city limits of West Palm Beach (between 36th Street and Okeechobee Blvd.)
  • All areas east of Olive Avenue, US1/Federal Highway with the city limits of West Palm Beach (south of Okeechobee Blvd.) and Lake Worth.
  • All areas east of the railroad tracks within the city limits of Boynton Beach and Lantana.

All areas in Jupiter, Tequesta, North Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens:

  • East of Limestone Creek Road & north of Indiantown Road.
  • East of Maplewood Road and north of Indian Creek Parkway.
  • East of Central Blvd. and north of Fredrick Small Road.
  • South of Fredrick Small Road and east of Old Dixie Highway and south to Northlake Blvd.

All areas in Boca Raton:

  • South of NW 7th Street north of Camino Real.
  • East of NW 9th Avenue/SW 9th Avenue/Gonzalo Road.
  • West of NW 7th Avenue/SW 6th Avenue.

Due to the extensive damage from previous hurricanes, please be advised that shelter locations may have changed. Go to your local Red Cross website, www.redcross-pbc.org for more information or call 561-833-7711. Shelters listed in orange are undergoing repair or reconstruction.
