PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL—Palm Beach County Health Department is reporting the county’s seventh swine flu-related death.
The victim was a 46 year old female.
In a written release Health Department Director, Alina Alonso, M.D. said, “Our sympathies go out to the friends and family of this woman. I am also asking all to remain alert to the signs and symptoms of this flu and seek medical attention if the fever, coughs and sneezes worsen.”
The health department continues urging people with respiratory illness should stay home from work or school to avoid spreading infections, including influenza, to others in the community.

At this time the Live Attenuated Intranasal Vaccine or "mist" version is the primary vaccine available at these sites. The mist is for healthy children 2 years to 24 years, care givers who are healthy up to age 49 of babies under six months, and health care workers with direct patient contact.
