KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) -- Health officials have confirmed the first case of swine flu in the Florida Keys.

Monroe County health officials say a girl between the ages of 8 and 12 taken to a Marathon hospital last week had the swine flu virus. No other details about the girl were released.

Health Administrator Bob Eadie said Wednesday that the girl's school was out for summer vacation, and none of her family has shown flu-like symptoms.

A 9-year-old boy who died at a Miami-Dade County hospital last week was the state's first swine flu fatality.

State health officials this week said Florida had more than 415 confirmed cases of the swine flu virus
