Amy meeks is only 9, but she likes to write. Problem is, the young author found herself struggling.

She couldn't figure out what words to use.

Reading and writing were a challenge-even though her eye exam, according to her mom, Kim,
was 20-20 .Dr. Rick Morris of Boca Raton said children often have problems getting their eyes and mind to work together.   The Optometrist works on 'visual training' with amy and other children--getting them to 'understand' what they see.

Thru games and exercise routines--such as using the trampline, children learn to focus and concentrate.

Children usually have visual training 2 times a week for several months or more.. Those exercises have helped amy so much she went from failing the reading portion of the f cat--to passing it with flying colors-and going to the 4th grade.

Amy is happy..she's writing..and her mother is happy, too!
