JetBlue offering 1 day only sale

Reported by: Associated Press
Last Update: 11/19/2009 11:59 am
NEW YORK, NY (AP) -- JetBlue is running a one-day sale on international and domestic flights with fares between $29 and $129 each way.

The airline said Thursday that sale fares are for travel between Dec. 2 and Dec 16 as well as between Jan. 6 to Jan. 28, with some blackout dates. The sale is not valid on tickets for travel on Jan 14, 15, 18 and 19.

Most of the discounted fares originate from JetBlue's home base at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. Destinations range from close spots such as Boston to Caribbean locations such as Saint Lucia.

JetBlue has run one-day sales before, mostly for slower-travel dates surrounding hot travel periods like Thanksgiving and Christmas. It often advertises these short promotions on its Twitter feed.
