WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- Two of the eight Real World house-mates will be moving from South Florida to Brooklyn.
One is sure to be the topic of much conversation. Katelynn grew up in West Palm Beach as a male. According to MTV, she began to realize she was more comfortable as a woman in high school. By 17, she was living full-time as a woman. Now 24, she went to Thailand last summer for the surgery to complete the transformation. She has a boyfriend she hopes to marry.
J.D., 22, from Miami Beach grew up in an abusive home in Orlando, according to MTV. After a visit to Seaworld as a youngster, he decided he wanted to become a dolphin trainer when he grew up. He came to the University of Miami and fulfilled his ambition at the Miami Seaquarium.
Katelynn and J.D., 22, will be sharing living quarters with an Iraq war veteran, a former beauty queen, a hip hop dancer, a punk rock Morman (that's what it says), an abs model and an advocate for victims of abuse.
Season 21 of The Real World premieres on MTV January 7th.
