A Pennsylvania woman accused of offering to trade sex for two tickets to the World Series is speaking out, saying she did nothing wrong.
Susan Finkelstein said, "I was a rabid Phillies fan wanting to get tickets at a price that I could afford and I deny that I did anything illegal."
Police have charged her with trying to trade sex for Phillies tickets.
"I know in my heart that I have nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about," said Finkelstein.
Bensalem Township Police say they were scouring the internet for pedophiles when they came across an ad that Finkelstein had posted on Craig’s list.
In the ad, the 43 year old Philadelphia mom described herself as quote "A die-hard Phillies fan, gorgeous, tall, buxom blonde, in desperate need of two world series tickets price negotiable. I'm the creative type? Maybe we can help each other."
Finkelstein's lawyer says those words aren't criminal.
"The posting has no smoking gun. There's no doubt that it's double entendre. It's verbally flirtatious but that's not a crime it's creative writing," said attorney William J. Brennan.
But police didn't see it that way.
They set up a meeting with Finkelstein at an area bar on Monday night and after a brief conversation in which police claim, she offered to have sex for the tickets they arrested her and charged her with soliciting prostitution.
"It's embarrassing to say the least among my family my friends my elderly father," Finkelstein admitted.
Her lawyer says she will be vindicated.
A local radio station is planning to give Susan and her husband tickets to Saturday’s game.
If convicted Finkelstein could do jail time."
