At around 5pm I was heading south on us 41 in South Fort Myers and I saw a streak of light flash to the east of my car.(It was heading east to west.) It happened so fast I thought I was seeing things. It looked like a shooting star, blue/green in color.

I was driving south on 441 between Okeechobee and Port Mayaca when I saw a bright point of white light streaking at a great speed from west to east. No smoke visible. It's always thrilling to see!

I saw this bright BLUE light with a tail at about 5:00 at El Clair Ranch and Woolbright in Boynton. It was in my sight for maybe 3 seconds - then gone! It was falling out of the sky from west to east - I thought it would have gone into the water or the I95 area.

I saw it when I was driving south on the Turnpike in Boynton. It traveled from the West to East and would have landed east of the Turnpike.

I saw it when I was driving south on the Turnpike and it crossed from West to East in front of me. It was traveling from the sky toward the ground east and would have landed east of the turnpike.

I saw it over Boca as I was going south of 441 near Yamato. It was bright blue from my viewpoint. Burned extremely bright across the entire sky. It was so close (or at least it seemed so close) that I swear it looked like it landed in Boca!

I saw this as I was driving southbound over the Roosevelt Bridge this afternoon. It was huge! It was so big, it looked as though it came down into the St. Lucie River from northwest almost straight down, crossing the bridge, to southeast, near where the fireworks barge is set up for July 4th.. It didn't really arc, but came streaming down at tremendous speed from a very high altitude. It was like something out of a sci-fi movie. Amazing! From my vantage point, it was a brilliant white light-I couldn't see any color to it and could not see a trail of smoke or anything after the actual "tail" passed. If a green stranger comes knocking at your door tonight, it isn't the Grinch...
