Tim Malloy is a 31 year veteran of the TV news business.

Prior to coming to Florida in 1992, he worked in New York (WPIX) and Los Angeles (KCOP) as a reporter and anchor.

He has won five Emmy Awards and has been nominated for 14 more.

In New York City his coverage of the Crown Heights Riots won the Associated Press Best Spot News Award and New York State Broadcasters Award.

In Los Angeles, he won L.A. Press Club awards as an anchor and a reporter.

He has reported from Iraq three times since the war began and has traveled to report news from 22 countries for NewsChannel 5 shooting his own video.
