Jamie is a native Floridian, born and raised in Ft. Pierce.

Education:
Jamie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida.

Work Experience:
WSLS (NBC) Roanoke, VA 1996 -1998
WPTV (NBC) WPB, FL 1998 - Present
 
Jamie has won several awards from national organizations which recognize his commitment to the community by helping the disabled and homeless.

Jamie is the only television reporter to ever be recognized by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for his stories involving child safety. He has also been nominated several times for Suncoast Emmy awards.

Jamie grew up in South Florida and has worked in a newsroom in some capacity since he was fifteen years old. He started writing copy for WTVX, the old CBS affiliate in Fort Pierce.


He has since gone on to cover some of the biggest stories to come out of the Sunshine State, including numerous presidential campaigns, the anthrax scare, and terrorist ties to the area.

 Jamie and his wife love spending as much time as possible with their child.
