Mollie Reynolds grew up in Stuart where she graduated from South Fork High School. She joined the NewsChannel 5 team in October of 2007 as the 5:00 a.m. producer for "Today on 5" with Roxanne Stein and John Favole.

Mollie began her career in television news while attending Florida State University in Tallahassee. Go Noles! She didn't waste anytime trying to break into ‘the biz', landing her first internship in tv news her freshman year. She also became involved with Seminole Productions at FSU.

Right before graduating from FSU, Mollie was hired (finally.. not an intern!) as a camera operator at the ABC affiliate in Tallahassee. Eager to learn about other positions in the newsroom, she started coming into work on her own time to train with editors and producers. Mollie's desire to get ahead is the reason she was able to climb the ranks from camera operator, to chief editor to the sole producer of a 2 hour morning show in a little over a year after being hired at the station.

In October of 2007, Mollie moved back to South Florida to begin her new gig here at NewsChannel 5. Mollie couldn't be happier working for the station she grew up watching and living close to her family once again.

In January of 2009, WPTV established its Facebook page, and Mollie quickly became the resident ‘Facebook Expert' of the newsroom and has since spent countless hours communicating with our Facebook friends and giving them a peek behind the scenes.

In August of 2010, Mollie began working on the station's social media presence fulltime, as the on-air social media reporter.
