You can score a free $10 Publix gift card and possibly save a life just for giving blood.
On Mother's Day weekend some Publix stores are hosting blood drives. If you donate, you'll get a gift card. They'll also check your blood pressure, pulse, iron count and do a cholesterol screening.
And if you're generally healthy, at least 16-years-old and weigh at least 110 pounds you can donate. Just bring a photo ID.
